We're finally HOME!

It was a great great great trip!...Although it was super shaky in some parts and it almost looked liked we were gonna have to abort at certain times, it all worked out in the end and we made it succesfully to all of our destinations! A special thanks to Ryan McAnlis for putting us up in his amazing flat while we were in London...couldn't of asked for a nicer place and a nicer host!...many thanks Ryan.

Once I get all the pictures we took from London I'll post them up.

We're finally in LONDON!

So we just got into London from Berlin, and it's great!...the weather is awesome and the place we are staying at is amazingly beautiful and one of the nices place's i've ever been (pics up soon)...Here are some pics of Berlin, some of Amsterdam, and some from other places...Berlin was really cool, I highly recommend it if you want to travel to a city in Germany...I'll post more soon now that I have unlimited wireless at Ryan's place...this trip has been amazing in so many ways...scary, exciting, fun, stressful, and just all around amazing.

New Years was CRAZY!...People and Fireworks everywhere!...We had a super fun time and were all safe, I got seperated from the group for an hour or so, but found them at the train station. We are just cruzing the city today and leaving for Berlin tonight!

A 15 hour Bus Ride

I'll make this as short as I can because I don't have much internet time.

We succesfully met up with Alex in Rome and headed out the next day by train to Florence. We believed our train to be scheduled at 8:30am, yet when we got to the station Anthony checked the ticket for a second time and found out that it was really at 7:30, so with about 10 minutes to spare we got on our train. It took about an hour and a half till we were in Florence. The city was really nice, not too big, so it was good that we only planned to stay for only the day. We walked around, did some shopping, and went to so museums...It was great, except for McDonald's, which is another story in it's self. Then at 8:30 we left for Milan. We got in at about 11:30 and found our Hotel. We had to wake up at 6:30am the next morning to hop on a train to the next airport we had to be at which would be our flight location for Amsterdam. So we got on the train and ultimately to the airport. We got checked in, and sat in the terminal waiting to take off when our flight was cancelled. Not just delayed, but cancelled...and they just kept telling us that we will get a refund after we mail in a slip and that there we're any other flights till the next day...and those flights were going for about 400 euro a piece...we were bummed to say the least. Well, long story short, a whole bunch of people from the flight grouped together to rent a charter bus and drive to Amsterdam from Italy. So for 100 euro a piece, we all decided to join in. And now, after sharing a 15 hour bus ride with a bunch of drunk Italians singing soccer chants, we have finally made it to our Amsterdam Hotel. The city is pretty clean so far from what we've seen, but we've really just seen the airport. Tomorrows the big day...should be fun, and kinda crazy...I expect to have a lot of pics, so tune in i guess...

well...that's it so far, the short version.

Rome Part Deux

Well…today was pretty productive. We started off with some breakfast at the local restaurant, and let me tell you, it was amazing. We all got the Eggs, Bacon, and Toast and were quite pleased. First of all, it’s not just one piece of toast that they bring out to you; it’s a whole basket of toast for your enjoyment. Secondly, the eggs and bacon were those of a true manly breakfast, tons of oil and super greasy, but oh so good. In addition to a great meal, I was served the best cup of coffee that I had ever tasted in my life. After breakfast we checked into our new rooms and went to the local market to pick up some water and towels for showering. After that we headed to the Vatican Museum and took in the sights. The Vatican has to be one of the most overwhelming museums I have ever visited…There is WAY too much art to take-in in one day. It’s amazing how many pieces of historically important art are found in the museum. After the Vatican Museum, we made our way to the Vatican Court yard and into the church there, which I believe is called the “St. Peter’s Cathedral” or something like that. This church had to have been the most overwhelming piece of architecture that I had ever witnessed. The vaulted ceilings appeared to stand roughly 200ft high…It was breathtaking nonetheless. It’s amazing to think how such a structure could be built with such little constructural technology. After the church we walked through the city a bit and ate some pizza for dinner. After dinner we made our way to the Spanish steps. They weren’t very exciting…they seem to be one of those things that receives a bunch of hype, but doesn’t really live up to it, but then again, I don’t really know what I was expecting, they are just steps. After that we decide to split off, Anthony went to go find Alex at his Hotel with his parents, and Zac and I went back to our place to check out and get our passports from the front desk before we leave early tomorrow morning to leave for Florence. Now we are just waiting for Anthony and Alex and hoping that tomorrow goes smooth. That’s all for now…hopefully I’ll be able to post more soon.

When In Rome

Hey Everyone!

We made it to Rome safe, It was a crazy trip though. Anthony and I nearly missed our flight and would of had to wait two more days to flight out...it was crazy! Our flight was supposed to leave at 9:20am, but got push back to 7:00am without us even knowing. We got to check in at 6:51am and they litereally had to run us through the airport to our plane, kinda like in "Home Alone" I'm still collecting footage for the video's...they seem kinda boring right now as it is...hopefully I'll get it to where I like it soon so that I can post it. Our Hostel is great!, a little cramped, but very nice...we have our own private shower and toilet and all the comforts of home...here are some pics of what we've done so far...I'll have much more up soon!
